Trina got vanilla and pineapple on the nose. Very light straw color. Elegant.. Nice oak and long acids.. On second thought... really a nice balance of fruit, oak, and acid.. Worth the price if you are looking for elegance and more...

Scavino is especially famous for their Barolo "Bric del Fiasc". Its huge, ruby, rich, opulent.. This wine on the other hand is ruby but young and tight. Barely a nose that only managed to give up some leather and game. more...

This is a mind blowing wine at $14.. Dark purple.. Blueberry jam, rich currants, cherries.... Great long finish.. Parker gave it 91 points. I agree.. Fantastic value.

Cloudier than the Bright shiny Flowers we had last night.. Not pretty like that wine.. But spicy and rich. Black cherry and black pepper.. Bright acids mixed with a sweet sensation (but bone dry). Disorganized tannins.. earthy, masculine and sort more...

Rasberries, spice, licorice.. dark ruby color and bright acid.  Food friendly with something rich from the region..  Loved it.. but wish I had waited 7-10 years.. Now I need to buy a few more and put them away about $85 more...

Golden straw color like a young wine. Yeast and acid with a little tiny bit of caramel.. Not showing its age except the bubbles were not as persistent as they should be. For its age this was a wonderful bottle.. more...
